A planner from an earlier age!

Imagine how you would feel if you lost your phone. What if you lost it and someone looked through it?

Robert Munger took detailed notes of everything he did in his Day Books. They are now available at the Birmingham Library.

Here is the cover of one of his Day Books from when he lived in Dallas, hoping and praying that if someone found it, they would return it.

Would we like to make a blog?

Hello, this is Rob Munger IV, here…

I set this website up recently to make it easier for people who wanted to share information about RSM to do so.

If people would like to make a blog as they explore RSM’s day-books or other materials, I would love to facilitate that process!

I was thinking that every month, we could post a photo of one of the pages of his day-book, and then write a couple paragraphs providing context. Alternatively, we could write about some other topic of interest to us.

I’m not much of a writer, but if someone wanted to take on the project I would be happy to be in charge of posting the writings. You could just send me an email or Word document with the text and a photo, and I would put it on the web and attribute it to you.

Many many many images and historical pieces are available on the Munger Family Dropbox. Reach out to Tainey or I and we will be happy to remind you of how to get access!
